The Governor's Inn Jim and Cathy Kubec, "My husband surprised me with a trip to Vermont for our anniversary.
What a wonderful surprise! We walked up this large amount of stairs to what I am calling
"Paradise". The hot tub, sky lite, and fireplace were just the beginning. It was so romantic!
Our day began with a delicious breakfst from Jim and Cathy and it ended with
a hot bath in that huge hot tub,& very eager to wake up early and do it all over again.
The Governor's Inn is definately someplace we will take a trip to again.
The hospitality, detailed decorations, warm-hearted staff and owners have made this
a wonderful experience and an amazing anniversary." "Our first getaway in our young romantic relationship!
The hospitality was great and the food was excellent. We couldn't have asked
for a more comfortable, romantic room to compliment what was quite a memorable weekend.

We traded in our blackberries and cell phones for a weekend of pure relaxation
and found excatly what we needed here in Annabelle's Room. Despite the cold,
rainy weather, we were warmed (thanks to the fire), well fed

Surroundings Each guest room at The Governor's Inn is uniquely appointed with antique furniture and accessories. All rooms have either king or queen size beds, three second floor rooms have gas fireplaces (and cable TV with DVD/VCR), each third floor room has a Vermont Castings gas-lit fire stove, and two of the third floor rooms have aqua massage whirlpool tubs for two.
