Magic Cooking Seminars
Preparing and presenting
attractive, healthy cuisine for family and friends need not be an overwhelming
experience. Chef Cathy Kubec, through carefully explained step-by-step demonstrations,
will share cooking hints and secrets, making it possible for you to turn
food preparation into "culinary magic."
Each small-group seminar will
address concerns of the non-professional cook, such as preparing ahead for
ease of entertaining, menu planning, the use of fresh, healthy ingredients,
a nd attractive presentation of foods. Some seminars address the needs of
beginners, while others are for the more experienced culinary enthusiast.
There will be both demonstration classes as well as "hands
on" opportunities, and classes are kept small, so that participants
will really have a chance to practice what they are learning.
A Personal Approach
Chef Cathy is an
honors graduate of The Connecticut Culinary Institute and has earned a Certificate
from the César Ritz program of the Ritz Escoffier Ecole de Gastronomie
Française in Paris, France. She is also an outstanding culinary educator
with a natural ability to teach and motivate. Her approach to cooking and
entertaining is personal, simple and elegant.
