DJ's Restaurant

Just a 5 minute walk into the village. DJ’s offers casual, affordable dining and a full service bar. It is very popular among locals and tourists alike. Reservations are suggested even on week nights.

Still in walking distance, Goodman’s American Pie offers great pizza, beer and wine. Take out or dine in. Family-friendly atmosphere. Or catch their mobile wood-fire grill at the Ludlow Farmer’s Market every Friday afternoon from May to October.

Only a 3 minute walk away Mojo Café offers a combination of Tex Mex and Creole cuisine with unique ingredient combinations. They offer a variety of menu items for every taste bud from mild to hot.  Relaxed  atmosphere. Open for lunch and dinner, dine-in or take out. They also offer a large variety of craft beers.

Mr. Darcy's Bar & Grill

Only 0.6 miles away on Route 103 South, you can easily walk there (be advised that the last 100 yards are without sidewalk). The offerings range from craft burgers to comfort food and Vermont beer. Trying the parmesan truffle fries is a must. Reservations are recommended.

Outer Limits Brewing

Offers pub fare, pizza and craft beer. Located in a historic brick building on the village green in Proctorsville.

Sam's Steakhouse

You’ll find Sam’s Steakhouse 0.7 miles away on Route 103 South, still in walkable range and perfect for a little walk in the evening (be advised that the last 200 yards are without sidewalk). Great food ranging from steak to seafood, and extensive salad bar. Large wine selection.


Just across the street from town hall, it offers tapas style food that is locally sourced and an extensive wine selection. Casual atmosphere.

Also in walking distance, Tacos/Tacos offers tacos, burritos, nachos, salads, etc. Counter-service for take-out and dine-in. Large portions.

A short 7 minute walk into the village The Downtown Grocery offers casual fine dining using locally sourced ingredients. Daily changing specials. Reservations are suggested, especially on weekends.

American cuisine, fresh seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Situated in an old Victorian on the Chester green.

The Killarney

A 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away The Killarney is an Irish Pub offering comforting pub fare. Try the Verbacon – a burger with all typical Vermont ingredients – cheddar, maple smoked bacon and maple syrup. Most nights feature some kind of entertainment, be it live music or trivia night.
